A little 'latest research – and I decided to take the risk and try to set up Vista on MacBook. And here's how:
1) The first thing after setting up my new sparkling white MacBook (2 GHz), the necessary updates and download Boot Camp (Boot Camp) to be installed. Bootcamp is a partition manager and currently still available for free, as is in beta. Until then I had some concerns I had was an update of an old 2K license I have a "clean" update anyway – so fingers crossed and hope for the best would require the purchase!
2) I want the Boot Camp user file first reading – when I learned that the Win2K update was a bit 'too ambitious to have! Fortunately, I had opened my Vista Home Premium upgrade could be a field of back and buy the full version.

The MacBook then restarted want to insert directly into Windows mode and asks to install the operating system. In my case the Vista Home Premium CD followed by the serial number. I could see if the number directly online. (You can also use Microsoft Update XP, but in this case, you must install XP first and upgrade with Vista later.)
Launched 9) installation of Windows Vista and about 30 minutes and a few restarts later everything was ready!
This certainly was the easiest OS installation I try never done – and I now have the opportunity to choose among 10 OSX (Tiger) and Vista – on a nice thin laptop – what more could you want?? ?
I can not say much about performance with this configuration – but I do not want to work on the promised 6 hours maximum battery life count wink As for the software on Vista – Firefox and Skype, and, of course, and Office applications. If you Laps zone as a firewall, yes, I could run just disappointed.
So far so good – this is all I have to report yet, but I thought I'd let you know anyway. Simply because when you're a computer store and ask the staff – I had only a very weak smile when I wanted to buy an Apple Mac + Vista buy, along with some recommendations "VistaforMac" (which, to my knowledge does not exist! ) or software emulation.
In any case – it works!
